ABOUT THE ACADEMY
Trained to perform. Ready to thrive.
The ProArtist Academy is where the stage meets strategy. Founded by soprano and actress Shauna Claire, it gives performers the branding, mindset and business know-how to build a career as strong as their craft.
WHY WE EXIST
Conservatoires train the craft. We help with everything after the bows.
The Academy began with a frustration many performers know well: standing in the spotlight, holding an audience, and still not knowing how to build a career that lasts.
The performing world is dynamic and competitive, yet personal branding, marketing and the business of performing are rarely taught. We bring them out of the shadows, with practical steps you can use straight away.

SHAUNA'S STORY
A comeback, and a calling
Shauna won a full scholarship to study opera in London. Then came two serious medical conditions, and a prognosis that threatened her life.
She was diagnosed with Complex Regional Pain Syndrome (CRPS), which left her in a wheelchair, paralysed and in constant pain. When doctors warned she might not survive the month, her mother, Elaine, refused to accept it. She brought together a team of expert advisers, including physiotherapist Simon Greene, whose rehabilitation plan changed everything.
Shauna learned to walk again, managed her pain with mental strength, and reclaimed her life.
While she recovered, she kept learning, and qualified as a social media strategist and personal branding expert. That journey became The ProArtist Academy: a way to help fellow artists defy the odds and build the careers they deserve.
Today she performs in opera across Ireland and Europe, climbs mountains, rides horses and cares for a small family of animals. Her story is proof that with the right support and determination, our challenges can become the very thing that lifts others.
OUR MISSION
To help performers turn their artistry into thriving careers.
